A few users did complain UltraCart can feel a bit clunky, and features like reporting could be more customizable. Those are fair points; UltraCart definitely has room for improvement.
Hello, I am using Version 1.2.2.7 of the plug-in. From it’s description it would do exactly what I wanted so I installed it and did some tests. All went well until I tried to use the ‘return’ & ‘cancel_return’ parameters. Eventually, by viewing the page source, I discovered that those 2 parameters were not included with the other shortcode parameters. This turned out to be a space that had appeared in the urls which I hadn’t spotted due to line wrapping in the editor. It now works great on my live website so I copied it to my dev site to amend and use for another payment. I’m now back to where I was – it ignores ‘return’ & ‘cancel_return’ and cannot find out why. Any advice to track down the problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Another truly innovative use case for minimizing cart abandonment was deployed by one of Germany’s leading retailers in the household appliances category: In order to prevent abandonment, this brand identified customers who were highlighting the product name with their mouse cursor (likely with the intention of copy-pasting it in another tab in order to price-shop) – and then displayed a surprise coupon code that grabbed their attention and encouraged many of them to convert during the same session.
Ever since I've started the blog I had this idea in the back of my mind to gather information about *all* existing shopping carts and ecommerce platforms out there and document their journey.

at times, it appeared as though I did not receive confirmation that an item was added to the cart. I would certainly add that confirmation.
You can add product images on all ecommerce platform, but shoppers want to see a clear picture of what they are buying. These platforms are very good but they do require a lot of leg work to get up and running.
Now that you have all of the above ready to sail, there’s only one more thing you need to do. What could that be? Your product page, of course.
It’s a lot less effort to find the same product at a competitor than it is to return an item because it’s the wrong color or size.
